Research Centre University of jena

The Centre for Energy and Environmental Technology in Jena opens a second research and application centre. A photovoltaic system is located behind the perforated metal panelling. Battery and energy research will be carried out here in future. The roof is completely covered with solar cells to generate green energy.

There are also test areas for the centre's own solar stands, which are used to work on further increasing the performance of battery units. The new building covers a total of 4000 square metres of floor space, housing 40 offices and 60 laboratories.
