The stairwell in the Obentrautpark illustrates the design possibilities of modern perforated metal cladding: The custom-designed perforation creates a textured metal facade that lends the fire escape depth, rhythm, and a unique architectural identity.

Außenansicht eines Wohngebäudes am Obentrautpark in Berlin. Ein markantes, mehrstöckiges Treppenhaus ist vollständig mit gold-bronzefarbenen Lochblech-Paneelen verkleidet. Die semitransparente Metallhülle lässt die dahinterliegenden Treppenläufe schemenhaft erkennen und bildet einen warmen, edlen Kontrast zu den umgebenden grünen Bäumen und der hellen Fassade des Hauptgebäudes.
