Sports and Swimming Hall Dudelange (Luxembourg)

Dudelange (Luxembourg) inaugurated its new Strutzbierg Sports Complex on January 24, 2025. The 3,300 m² building features a swimming pool with an adjustable-height floor and a divisible sports hall with seating for 100 spectators. It complements the historic campus, whose oldest building dates back to 1883.

Thanks to the new facility, all 1,915 primary school pupils in the municipality can now receive swimming lessons. The official opening was attended by Sports Minister Georges Mischo and Education Minister Claude Meisch. Three artworks from the “Konscht um Bau” programme will also be unveiled soon.

The façade is made of 1.5 mm thick aluminium, anodised in light bronze (E6C32). The folded trapezoidal panels create varying surface geometries and feature a staggered round perforation pattern (Rv 5/8).
