This emergency staircase cladding demonstrates how functionality and architecture can be effectively combined. The custom-designed perforation incorporates a project-specific motif, giving the façade a distinctive identity. In this way, a functional emergency staircase tower becomes a defining architectural feature of the building envelope.

The façade cladding is made of 3 mm thick perforated aluminium sheets, coated on both sides in RAL 9007. The custom-made elements provide a balanced combination of privacy and transparency, allowing natural daylight to enter while creating a dynamic façade appearance through the interplay of light and perforation.
